Creamed Corn
20 oz. frozen kernel corn
8 oz. whipping cream (1/2 pint)
8 oz. milk (1 cup)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. monosodium glutamate (msg)
1/8 cup sugar
1 pinch white pepper
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 cup flour
Combine all ingredients except butter and flour in pot and bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Blend melted butter with flour, add to corn, mix well, and remove from heat. |
